Superior Steam Cleaners Goes Pink!!!
Many people have heard of companies going “green” these days. Well, Superior Steam Cleaners has already done that, so they are trying something different this time of year. They have gone PINK! In an effort to raise money for The Larry and Lori Lickstein Foundation, who hold the popular event Steps to the Cure, Superior Steam Cleaners is currently offering 10% off of their clients invoices, if they make a donation to the cause. Steps to the Cure is a truly local event, driven by the specific needs of the Maryland breast cancer patient, and visualized by the surrounding community of artists, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists culled together by The Larry and Lori Lickstein Foundation. The Foundation — started by a local plastic surgeon and his wife — hopes you are intrigued by this vision of a provocative and imaginative event, and excited by our pledge that this event will be different! Embrace the Steps to the Cure by becoming a sponsor or guest, and we look forward to seeing you on April 16th 2011, whether in high tops or heels. Superior Steam Cleaners and many others will be there donning their black tie and most creative footwear and if you’re lucky you can catch a glimpse of their pink hair too! If you would like to attend the event go to the site: www.stepstothecure.com to purchase your tickets. So, all of this makes you wonder why are they supporting this cause, right? Recently the Owner, Randy Pierce, and his Son, Shaun Pierce, have experienced the pain of losing someone to cancer, making this even more important to them than ever before. Randy’s best friend passed away in January after being diagnosed only a few months prior and Shaun’s wife has Breast Cancer running in her family, with the birth of their daughter 2 years ago, he finds it’s hitting closer to home than he ever thought it would. There is no cancer more important than the next, so if you know someone who has experienced it in one way or another, then you know how personal it is. Randy & Shaun Pierce They hope to get your support for this cause through their services. As Randy says, “This is a win-win situation; you have a healthy and clean home and you’ve supported an amazing local cause.” Don’t forget, supporting a non-profit organization can be used as a tax write off at the end of the year, so maybe that’s another win. Together we can all contribute to finding a cure. If you do need your carpets or upholstery cleaned, you can contact them at (443) 277-7265 or go to their website www.superiorsteamcleaners.com . Even if you don’t have a need for the services, you can go to www.stepstothecure.com and donate directly on their website.
